It's the reverse (12 yo taking upskirts pics of a 51 yo ) that would surprise me.
And guess what ? I'm pretty sure the 51 yo is a male , the 12 yo a female.
Nothing new under the sun.

Same maturity level

Yeah well the 24 year old is a mature adult as far as the law is concerned. And I doubt even a 24 yo would want to have up skirt pics taken without consent. A 12 yo is a child. Anyway do we need a law to say it's morally and ethically wrong to take up skirt pics of a child? If that was my kid that guy would be eating dinner through a IV bag.

I have to see if their is a law with elements that match the incident I that state. Otherwsie like most laws created they can create one if the state wants. Still civil cases tho regardless.

Isn't Oregon the state that has a transexual mayor in one of it's towns?

Who needs another useless after-the-fact law? Protect your own family, wimps. Teach your daughters to be more alert to their surroundings. Teach them about personal space and what to do when an adult man violates it. Show them how to kick ...hard. Buy them pointy-toed shoes to wear with those dresses.

How did she not see that man taking pictures under her skirt? Too self-involved, maybe? It's a new dawn, people. Get over your squeamishness. Teach your children to fight, scratch and kick. Tell them that the bogeyman DOES exist, but he doesn't hang around in the closet all day.

The courts can't save them. Only you can do that. We don't need more judges. We need hard-nosed PARENTS!

A liberal state with permissive attitudes...

What next?

I suggest he go to eastern Oregon and try the same thing on some ranchers daughter... the results might be a tad different

He acquitted Patrick Buono, 61, of Portland on two counts of invasion of privacy

I don't quite understand that. It was certainly invasion of privacy. The girl had clothes on; obviously, she wanted to keep certain parts of her body private.

If she was walking around nude then there would be no invasion of privacy because nothing was being kept private.

I think the judge should re-think his ruling...
