You are simply lost in the false paradigm of left vs right, liberal vs conservative, red vs blue. A true critical thinker, has realized there is no difference.
And Fox and MSNBC are simply different ends of the same pole.
And Fox and MSNBC are simply different ends of the same pole.
Agreed, but there's one distinction. MSNBC doesn't intend to be a major new network, while Fox would like to think of itself as being one. Fox doesn't comprehend that being blatently biased prevents it from being taken seriously as such..
Lots of cross currents here beyond simply Brian lying to his viewers.
NBC is now owned by Comcast. It is no longer hiding in the aprons of GE.
Whoever said it, his remaining at NBC will rest with the advertisers.
Williams gets paid...are u ready for this? About $10 MILLION per year (how is that even remotely possible for someone to read twenty minutes of news? OK, I get it there is some preparation and he is ostensibly 'head of NBC news"...lets assume he works a 10 hour day...still... $10 Million for a face and a voice? Just wow!)
Holt, who seems to me to be just as presentable, makes $1.5 Million per year.
Money is money.
And has been pointed out, NBC has problems in many of their other broadcast areas. CNBC, for example, has achieved some of the lowest ratings ever over the past year.
Williams fabricating is just part of the paradigm shift at NBC. He will be toast is my prediction, for reasons including, but not exclusive to his episode of mis-remembering.
But cry not for Brian. He is VERY wealthy, if not a little humiliated at this point.
And despite NBC's spin, it was not a "misrecollection." It wasn't even one lie. He's the whopper king.
