I think Kantye just wanted to go home, turn on the comedy channel and see the South Park "Fish Sticks" episode over and over again for three hours.

My favorite artist by far was St. Vincent, she is the awesomeness.

I can't speak to the Beck situation since I have never heard his music. But Kanye while offensive isn't one to be PC he says what's on his mind and is nfg about it. Sometimes he is right other times it's questionable. At the time he did it to Taylor swift I thought it was mean how he did it, considering how young and new she was to the industry and of course to just do that the way he did it was hurtful and humiliating I felt bad for her. But....... At that time I agreed with his sentiment, I didn't think she deserved it either and thought Beyonce should have won. The way he did it was wrong but what he said was what I was thinking. And that's what I appreciate about him, he gives no f*cks and speaks with honesty. Many might not agree with what he says or how he says it, but he doesn't care either way. Honestly I loved his first four CDs, he was great back then. Still listen to them. Nowadays???? He's gone too mainstream and it just isn't the same. I need for him to rep the chi like he used to. But it's funny how hated he is because he doesn't care if he offends in mass a group of people that wouldn't support him or listen to his music even if he was chucking and jiving and keeping his opinions to himself the way people think he "ought to". Yes he's tacky but it doesn't bother me.

Kanye is a bully and a racist.
Lmao he isn't a racist. He is a bully. He was right years ago when he said t-swift shouldn't have won, I felt the same way especially since when living in nashville I found out how her career really started, and it isn't necessarily because she was special at the time. Nowadays, and years later I think she's earned her place and I would never question what many consider to be her talents(though admittingly she sounds generic and sings teeny bopper stuff that I can't relate to, so she isn't my idea of talent)...I don't know anything about Beck so I can't comment. But sounds like Beck brushed it off.

Calling a kid fugly? North is not ugly.
And we all know that if he wasn't relevant you and the many others wouldn't have made comments about him. There wouldn't be articles about his antics even something as minor as a snub at a singer who didn't even care. He's been relevant and has stayed that way despite how offensive he is. His albums do well, as does his concerts, as does his money which he makes even with his irrelevant self lol. As much as people want to downplay him and say otherwise, there are plenty of people that got on twitter that were like "beck who?" Or who is "beck"... Yet everyone knows Kanye's name, and the more he's talked about the more you make him relevant.

He still had to heavily sample a dead Ray Charles for his biggest hit. Outkast he is not.

Kanye's name is more identifiable than Beck because of his antics not his music. I have never heard any songs of Kanye yet I know who he is. And I don't like him. What he did to Taylor Swift was just horrible. And then he wanted to do the same thing to Beck.

The problem with Kanye is that he will not consider another artist as an actual artist unless they are in the same genre as him. You're pop, or rock, or country, you're not an artist. So when they win an all genre category award, it bugs him.

Yet another example of how excuses are made for KW, who continues to act the fool by attempting to embarrass people. What a guy.

Beck, who is 44, has been performing since he was 15, and cut his first album at 19-- long before anyone knew KW from a hole in the ground. He also plays over a dozen instruments (and he plays them well) but let's not talk about artistry.

The fact that you consider his stage-rushing antics "minor" says more about you. The MTV Awards and Grammys aren't KW's private little domain. He may think they are just as he thinks he can control mere peons on the street by ordering them not to speak to him , but he's wrong. And the number of one's fans doesn't necessarily correlate to artistry. People line up for freak shows, too.

Give me a break.

Kanye is an ass. The more he talks the more he reveals this to be true.
