Tax-Refund Fraud Soaring, Little IRS Can Do - NBC News

I find this unbelievable that the IRS is sending refunds checks out before the information has been verified. Is it too simple for them to check out the information before sending a check? So it takes time for your refund at least it would reduce fraud. All the money we give to other countries and we have antiquated systems in our own government?
