Why do your loved ones deserve to make national news when they die?
Were they direct descendants of a pop music icon that was adored around the globe?
Jeez, use your head for once.
I still have to wonder why she is getting all of this publicity. I can assure you that if it were a child of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, or a child of one of the Beatles or Rolling Stones, very little would be in the media compared to this child.
If they are going to pull her life support, why not on the same day? I think it would help with the grieving process on the anniversar(ies). No reason not to.

because she is young and part of the social media scene- not as the artists you mentioned- and she is in my prayers.
I'm going to make a very obvious statement here. Money and fame do not always equal happiness. Most of go through life trying to make ends meet and somehow we are pretty happy and we don't end up going down the same destructive paths as people like this young lady. We all talk about "winning the lottery" and how it would change our lives, but maybe we are better off as we are right now.
This girl had the world by the tail, was about to inherit (or maybe already had already inherited) a fortune, but here she is laying in a coma and at deaths door. I don't know about you guys, but I woke up this morning, had my cup of coffee, chuckled at the antics of my cats, and am looking forward to being off work today. Maybe it is a better thing to be a working class stiff than we thought.
I think I will go for a walk and watch the squirrels and the ducks playing outside !
Read the link --- it's not a rumor if multiple news sources are reporting it.
Use your head.
Multiple news stations reporting something is NOT the same as multiple news sources. Many news stations just report what they see someone else report on without checking to see if it's true. Notice the article specifically says "According to TMZ". TMZ may be right, they may not be right. But the point is, this news station didn't fact check anything. They just took whatever report TMZ spit out and retold it without checking any of the details on it.
Check this link. It is to a search of Cracked articles about news stories that were reported on by many news agencies, including major news networks, Huffington Post, New York Times, etc, that turned out to be untrue or were at least extremely misleading because those news outlets just reported what they saw someone else report on and didn't check things out for themselves. There are at least 25 (25!!!) articles with 5 or 6 news stories each that were pure BS but were reported in many different news outlets.
Sad. You would think that a child born to a crack head druggie mother who has millions of dollars would have had a chance at life. Ive known crack babies (born to mothers just like Houston who were crack heads) turn out just fine even though they didnt have millions of dollars to support them. They worked hard, studied, and had a support structure that provided more than just "prayers" that allowed them to succeed in life.

The publicity is mainly because her mother's life was such a train wreck. If Whitney hadn't had all the drama in her life, this would be a footnote. A child of Elvis, or Michael Jackson would be getting similar ink.

.
I think the same thing. I actually wonder if they DID pull her off life support yesterday but are keeping it quiet until after all is said and done. TMZ insists that family members TOLD them that is what they were doing. I think it would be a lovely tribute, for lack of a better word, for her to be reunited with her mother on the same day three years later.
Maybe I'm cold-hearted, but that's stupid. Why romanticize the date her mother died from a drug overdose? They aren't going to be reunited because they die on the same day. That's ridiculous.
IMO this has all been for publicity. After Bobbi Christina dies, so does Whitney (again), then there is no tie to her fame anymore. This is that scumbag Bobby Brown's last chance at publicity on the news and front pages. He will fade away from public consciousness now. Finally. He got the greatest voice hooked on drugs and ruined her life and ultimately killed her. Now being the "grieving father" is all trying to get sympathy despite his wicked ways.
Sorry you ended up like Mom, Bobbi.
