Just remember -- in the last farm bill that Obama himself signed, millions in subsidies and other breaks were given to big agribusiness interests, while SNAP benefits were cut, because we couldn't "afford" it.
Once again you are confusing giving and taking. If the government taxes less it does not mean it is spending. Food stamp is spending and you cannot convince me in the land of 99 cents cheeseburgers we have 60 million hungry people.

Meanwhile HSBC continues to evade billions of dollars of taxes, and nobody cares.
This is a terrible story, but it comes down to this guy, not those people in the picture people are enjoying laughing at way too much.

That's the same thing as being a ringleader.
Let's pray those folks aren't in real need because they won't ever be getting food stamps again.
Ding, ding, ding !!! You win the title of "Stupidest response of the week" contest ! Keep it up and you will be in the finals for "Stupidest response of the YEAR !"
You must have stayed up all night thinking up this retort, didn't you ?????? You must be very proud !
Meanwhile, we still await any serious criminal charges against those responsible for the crash of 2008. Remember kids, if you're going to defraud, think big. That way, not only will you get away with it, you'll attract millions in government subsidies and bonuses from your own crooked employers.
This will never happen under the Obama Administration.
I wish they would do crackdowns on all the states and maybe some of us tax payers would not be footing the bill so much .
As a taxpayer, I hate paying to bail out people who are wealthy. I hate paying to enact regulations that will hit small businesses disproportionately, I HATE paying for war and the killing innocent people.
Food stamps...not so much. No matter what color people are..isn't it OK to pay part of the money we have to make sure they are not starving in the street? Otherwise, we could end up with a country full of malnourished ppl with all kinds of developmental ailments like we had in the centuries before.
This type of fraud seems to be the same thing that happens in many poor areas. Recipients may qualify for food assistance, but can't afford deodorant, toothpaste...alcohol etc. Yes I know...how dare these poor people drink alcohol and do drugs with our tax money? But that's just how f_ed up their lives may be. Like middle class and rich people they want a little escape.
Some shop owners are really bad people, and some are soft hearted. They will try to cut the clientele a break by letting them use the food stamps for stuff they should not...overpriced toiletries and liquor. I'm not feeling all the hate here. These ppl are white and poor, but that does not mean they are jerks or racists. Hope they can get their sh_t together.

Yeah, after the welfare reform in the 90s, we were supposed to see starving children all over town. Never happened. This country can’t have 60 million “hungry” people. We only got 320 million. I’d like to examine their budget before handing out food stamps. The money they save on food simply goes to pay for other goodies.
