THAT'S why he asked the man to voluntarily let him inspect it.

And LOL "YOU" are going to arrest an officer for anything. OK. Please make sure there's a video of THAT.
Strange as it may seem, I agree with this post.

C. Ive witnessed accounts like this and the person in question is rarely the innocent little angel they are made to be.

Scenario: Person is drinking a metal can while sitting in a liquor store parking lot. Cop approaches and questions. Person drinking assumes they are being profiled and gets an attitude. The attitude adds tension and validates to the cop that the person drinking is up to no good. Person drinking isnt complying. Cop arrests. Media biases. Readers mad.

Seen in a thousand times on COPS.
The judge tossed the charges and said the officer had no reason to arrest the man. Was the judge just trying to **** people off also?

Now that he's been locked up, though, he can legitimately call himself a gangsta and start rapping about his hard street life and how he "dun did time in da pen wit OG's."

Sorry guys, but we need our cops to get back to doing, "Real Police Work" here in the U.S.
Harassing some guy, you think may have alcohol in the parking lot of a Liquor Store, "Is NOT Real Police Work"

Oh he was doing much more than that, including staging a youtube video which I posted above. Then again, when you wear those "I'm Black" glasses you tend not to see most things.

Odd how quickly you went from supporting and defending the guy to criticizing him based on his skin color and the fact that "all black guys rap", but on CD, it's important to keep the racist image since that's what Current Events and Politics forums have turned into these days.

1.He's a rapper. The article clearly states that. Can you read?
2.I both support him and not support him: he should have just complied and not let this escalate into nonsense. At the same time, he did nothing wrong. Lots of times, I've been interrogated by police for no apparent reason. I've complied every time, and never faced repercussions.
3.Don't pull the race card out. I didn't in any way, shape or form criticize him, nor mention or imply anything about his race. (P.S., I'm black. Nice try, though.)

Race?

This topic wouldn't exist otherwise. The OP clearly makes the point the guy arrested was Black and he links an article from an opinion rag called "Breaking Brown". This is a blog that bills itself as "Continuing The Tradition of Black Intellectual Thought". Meaning Blacks unfairly treated by Whitey and the police establishment.

So yeah, it's all about race.

In reference to my joke about his rap career... which had nothing to do with race... It was said that I implied he's a rapper because he's black.

Nearly everyone is video ready in today's society. You don't have to stage anything. You just need to push the icon on your phone.
