A police officer who gets slapped down by two girls shouldn't be on the force. That's what that video says to me. Shame on the girls, yes. But shame on that officer too. And double-shame on the camera man who laughed rather than helped the officer.

But if the officer had been a man, none of this would have happened in the first place.
Oh, come on. This happens to male officers as well. A smaller officer attacked by two larger, younger men/teens would most likely have the same results if the officer didn't use his tazer or gun.

IDK about Canada but here engaging in physical encounters is not routine. After initial training, officers are not required, encourage or supported in maintaining hand to hand training or physical fitness. (Perhaps why so many are overweight).

I often see 4-7 cop cars at a scene where someone is pulled over or stopped on the street. I think chit, overkill, why do they need so many officers. Apparently because they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Criticized for using force and/or everyone's opinion of what excessive force is at the same time they are criticized for not using force and getting attacked by perps.

Really, what does Joe public expect for their buck. Average officers makes around 30K, are expected to be on call 24/7, puts their life on the line everyday. They often get crap equipment or have to pay for their own guns, vests, etc. and no one is excited about paying more tax dollars to provide extra officer or up to date training courses.

And no not all teens are thugs.

This is why women should not be cops, just two teenage thug girls cause a cop to lose out in a fight. Imagine if they wanted to take her gun.
