We need more news like this. There are good people in this screwed up world. People who just do what needs to be done, not wanting or expecting anything for doing it.
You're right. Not to take away from your post, but here's another incident most probably heard about but may have forgotten. THIS man will do more to change the opinion of Islam that anything I've ever seen. THIS is the "good Samaritans" Christ spoke about (the Samaritans were held in comtempt by those of Christ's day).
This young man gives me hope for the future. We see so many stories of our youth doing bad things, it is very refreshing to see this young man doing his part to help his fellow man in need. Thanks for a great story. This made this old mans night...
I figured the story would end with "and then the cops shot him"

The mom in the story apparently did too. She was scared at first when her son told her to stop the car.
She probably thought the cops were chasing them and he was going to make a run for it,
OMG a great story for once, and inspiring too. There still are great people out here, just we always hear about the negative stories, more news worthy. Like these stories better.
What a great young Man, race has not one thing, I always say it, with someone being great, and a person you can be proud of. Actually gives me hope for our future generation.
Cannot judge a book by it's cover you know. Good people do come in all races and nationalities and both genders..

Honestly the world isn't that screwed up, this stuff doesn't get much attention because its normal behavior... a kid shoveling an old mans driveway is not really newsworthy in my opinion, because it is very common.
People shooting each other is newsworthy because its rare.
