Most of the money will be well-disguised, with huge sums coming from private oil and gas companies, Sachs said, singling out millions of dollars in contributions from billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch.
We tend to know who is giving to the Dems, but the Reps have a lot of secret money from organizations that do not have to report who their contributors are.
Meanwhile....
nobody talks about the Supreme Court ruling saying that corporations are people and they can give unlimited donations to politicians.
Here's the problem... many corporations in this country are owned by people in other countries.
Citgo is owned by Venezuela's oil company PDVSA
Until recently the biggest share holders of Foxnews were an Australian and Saudi Arabia's prince
But who cares about that? .... unions using $10,000 in politics is a bigger issue #sarcasm
Maybe unions would be more supportive of Republicans if Republicans were more supportive of unions. I'm a conservative Republican and a union member and am pro-union. I am also pro-management and pro-business. I think we need to do more to preserve business and jobs here in the United States. And both parties have failed in this regard. We should have a high tariff on imports like we did prior to the enactment of income taxes in 1913. The tariff allowed our country to become a leading industrial power and our lack of it now and China's implementation of it has (or will) allowed China to supersede us. I can't say it enough - "WAKE UP, AMERICA!"

Although I'd hardly call myself "conservative" on social issues and I've personally had a bad experience as an employee member of a particularly nasty union, I applaud your argument and reasoning. But it's not as simple as tariffs. It's also outsourcing skilled jobs.
It always amazes me that many of the same people who constantly claim the government (and not just Obama, but pre-Obama) is doing nothing about job growth are the same ones who happily buy cheaply made foreign goods because it saves them money. Can't have it both ways. Supporting US jobs starts with your wallet.
If you like saving money by buying stuff made in sweatshops in Asia, then don't be surprised or angered at the US becoming a service economy.
