This is so ridiculous!

This Girl Did This After The Boy At School Twanged Her Bra. What Followed Is Gold. - Heartwarming

Quote:
This story may anger you, but you should also be happy to read about these woman standing up for themselves. Women should not have to stand to deal with these as adults, so why allow this to happen when they’re children?
Read the story at the link. The whole situation is crazy but the end was on a good note.

I can't believe the teacher wouldn't do anything and when she finally did retaliate they were more upset at the girl defending herself than what the boy did!

Why do school admins have to be so STUPID and defend the instigator and punish someone that just defends themselves???

Boy was probably in sports. Being an athlete pretty much gives most kids a free pass at everything and anything.

OMG!!!! I totally forgot about that! When I was in school this happened all the time. Boys would snap it so hard it hurt.
Fabulous reaction from this daughter and mother ! Equality for women has made little tiny steps over the years. Women are treated with more respect, even though things like equal pay hasn't quite caught on...

I could almost understand the boy doing this and thinking it was funny if both kids were 11 and it was a training bra. But at 15 years old? Definitely not cool. That wouldn't wash even back in 1970 where I grew up.

And, IMO, all parents should teach their daughters some basic self defense before entering HS. Maybe even before 6th grade these days.

Too bad she didn't shatter his face. Well handled by the mom.

It is written like most all those stupid made up stories that get passed around the internet for the next 10 years. Yeah, snapping bras is ridiculous behavior.

Seems like a simple case of self-defense.

Add me to the 130+ people who read this post but won't bother commenting on the subject because of a bad link.

All I got was a "like us on Heartwarming blah blah page to read the story," then the ominous cloud descended to blur the text. When I couldn't find specifics online in another account, I thought to heck with it.

If posters can't provide a good link or specifics, they shouldn't start a thread.
