Unless every facebook page that has posted viral videos of Giuliani have been yanked, this is not a story, but a huge waste of everyone's time who clicked on OPs link to this thread.

I think this is the most likely answer.

I would be curious to know what Facebook does to actively seek out underage page owners and was this selective.

LOL. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, cosponsored by Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Sen. Conrad Burns (R-MT).

Conservatives hate it when their stupid laws come back to bite them. But of course the laws should't apply to them. Just like it's OK for a Democratic minimum wage worker at Walmart to pay taxes, but if a billionaire conservative gets in trouble with the IRS for not paying taxes, he is obviously being persecuted.

Of course, if you are a whiny conservative bent on pointing out the liberal conspiracy against you, then what's a little detail like age limit rule on a private site?

I was going to make that point, too. In my view, someone probably flagged his post for political reasons and explained to the site administrators that the user was underage; I seriously doubt that the site administrators initiated the process themselves as they have far better things to do and removing this person's page would not even come close to putting a dent in the number of pro-Giuliani articles on the website.

At the end of the day, however, the boy was using the FB in violation of the site's terms and conditions as he's underage. Without proof that politics motivated the site administrator's actions here, that's the end of the story to me.

My first thought.

Dontcha just love it when people jump to irrational conclusions? I always hope they don't get hurt too bad on the way down.

Facebook has algorithms and crawlers set to get rid of underage accounts, spam accounts, and accounts using false names. There are too many of them to get them all but Facebook does actively try to shut down such accounts. Being reported helps.

Moral of the story - it has nothing to do with his political views.

(laughing) No such thing as a 12 year old conservative. Until you've voted you're just a 12 year with an opinion.

Didn't click on the link but just going off of the title of it it obviously had more to do with bad mouthing obama than hyping up the republican. If that at all. Like people said... it was shut down because he wasn't supposed to be on it. Too young. Then he lies and whines to media it had something to with what he posted

Nothing to see here. Next.....

I guess Facebook is part of the liberal mainstream media nowdays.
