"Three of them was joking around with my son," Mobley told The Huffington Post. One told Keyshawn, who was only 4 years old, that he would "end up in the police car" if he kept stealing.

But a fourth officer was upset that Mobley had called 911 in the first place.

"This is not our job," Mobley says the unidentified officer griped.

"You black ******* don't know how to take care of your kids," the officer continued, according to a lawsuit Mobley has filed against the New York City Police Department and the city's Administration for Children's Services.

"You need to call the kids' father, not us," the officer added. "We can't raise your kids. Why are you wasting our time? We aren't here to raise your kid. Why don't you take your ****ing kid and leave!"

Finally a legitimate story of police wrong doing. Seems like most posters these days post stories with half truths. If what the allegations say are true, then we have a clear case of a racist cop on a power trip. What's more alarming is that the other police let him get away with it. If its all found to be true I hope justice is served for this young lady.

The policeman shouldn't have used such language, but the mother shouldn't have called them in the first place.

Exactly!

I can't believe the idiotic things people call 911 over.

At least she wasn't calling 911 over McDonald's being out of chicken nuggets.

This.
She should be fined for mis-use of 911.
The cop should be disciplined for what he did.

Seriously, don't people understand calling the non-emergency police number? What part of my little boy stole $10. from my purse constitutes an emergency? She could have taken the boy down to the police station where I'm sure one of the officers would be happy to talk to her son. Dumbing down of America.

No matter how aggravated the cop was he was wrong to say what he did.

No ending to this story.. no comment form any official source,, just her and her attorney and a lawsuit

My perspective...

Civil cases are never what they appear to be and what comes out the other side is rarely what went in...

What better complaint than to throw in the race card against a policeman.. in this climate it gets attention.. but what we have seen from other cases is that the truth usually is very different

I have worked the ghetto.. I wouldnt use a racial slur for all the tea in china... why.. it wont get me anything except heartache... all the people that work with me feel exactly the same.. the rules are clear.. common sense is also clear
