I thought this was an interesting read because it makes people re-think the issue of class, and the narrative that if some people just ___________, that they won't be harassed.
Chris Rock is an extremely successful, multi-millionaire. He dress is about as far away from "thug" stereotypes as possible and he drives nice cars.
The comments at the bottom of the article are worth a read. People understand what's going on and there's tons of personal stories shared as well. You can't make the argument that this is a "bad apples" issue. This is a systemic issue affecting millions of Americans of all colors.
Chris Rock took a selfie after being pulled over by police while driving Tuesday, marking the third time in seven weeks he's posted while being stopped by a cop.

Article gives absolutely no information on the police's given reasoning for pulling him over. That's a crucial part of the story that is missing. If you drive with out of date plates, if you run red lights, if you tailgate the **** out of people, if you drive like an ******* in general and do 55 in a 40, that would certainly go towards explaining it.
I guess the immediate assumption is that he was pulled over because he's black, but without the added information, we really don't know what the situation is and can only speculate. As far as when he was in the car with Seinfeld, they got stopped because Seinfeld was speeding like a mother. Beyond that, he's been stopped twice in about 2 months for who knows what.
This just tells me blacks should not drive super luxury cars because of this. Yup. Don't drive anything worth more than $40,000 dollars in value new. Don't want to get accused of 'the car not being yours' simply because a cop don't think you pull that type of yearly income. Lol.

If you don't want to take his story as evidence of a problem (which he's obviously implying) listen to the numerous stories of real Americans in the comments section. Both black and white.

Shoot, dark skinned people can't drive a $2,000 Kia Rio without getting harassed by the police.
Rock was probably speeding or driving aggressively. He is doing the mid-life newly divorced celeb cool dude thing, young hot girlfriend and all, so he's going around all pumped up. Or maybe it's pimped up. He probably just needs to get it out of his system.
Big deal. He was stopped three times in seven weaks because...? And he then goes on to relate that Jerry Seinfeld was pulled over while driving his Lamborghini while he was a passenger in the car. Give me a beak.
Had this been Justin Bieber getting stopped, again, nobody would care.
