I just don't know how people manage to do this kind of stuff to children - You can imagine how bad it is : I have to advise that if you have faint heart do not read this (it was pretty hard when I heard this news on radio about what he did to kids)
Sorry but slapping a kid in the face hard enough to knock him down is not discipline. That is abuse pure and simple. Anyone who thinks its any thing else needs to get their heads examined.
I'm glad they arrested that fool. I noticed that the mother didn't say anything. I'd be surprised if he doesn't beat her as well. I'm fairly certain that child protective services will get involved. They could lose custody of the child.
Or they will tell them they have to attend parenting classes and the kid is placed right back in the home for more abuse or death.......seen it happen too many times. Go out on Facebook to the Unforgotten Angels page. It will break your heart.
First of all, that was not a puch. It was an open hand. Second, the kid was fine. It's called discipline people. If more children received it, there wouldn't be so many unruly kids these days

It was an open-handed slap that sent the poor kid flying, and I wouldn't discipline my kids that way, but....the child is fine. Between the narrator sounding aghast, and multiple "disturbing video" warnings that prefaced that short clip, let's just say I expected a lot worse. So, no...I'm not jumping on the gasp!! bandwagon.
If he really wanted to discipline the kid, he should have used a belt. Kids are coddled nowadays. Spare the rod and spoil the child.
