Is he that paranoid? Anyhow soon awaiting the twitter/internet message from Ben, the sorrowful admission that yes, he had some ancestors who did some terrible things, etc. etc. etc.

Email: Affleck asked PBS to not reveal slave-owning ancestor

Quote:
Ben Affleck requested that the PBS documentary series "Finding Your Roots" not reveal he had a slave-owning ancestor, according to emails published online by whistleblower site WikiLeaks, and the information never appeared on the program.

PBS and Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, host of the show that traces the ancestry of well-known guests, said in separate statements that they didn't censor the slave-owner details. Instead, more interesting ancestors of the actor emerged and Gates chose to highlight them in October's segment featuring Affleck, they said in the statements posted on the PBS website.

I hereby ask movie studios and theaters to not reveal Ben Affleck in any future movies.

It just goes to show how worried guilt ridden liberals will project the sins of their ancestors on all of us, based solely on race. To do so is racist in and of itself, but of course they are not programmed to think like that.
Personally none of my ancestors were guilty of slavery. However even if they had been, unless our society is going back to the days of a fathers sins are passed down to his son, who would give a darn?
Answer
I guess a guilty white liberal like Affleck.

"White guilt"? Must be something that afflicts some people when they have politically incorrect ancestors.

At issue for me is not that entitled, jug-head, Affleck, it's PBS' lack of integrity. I don't buy for a moment that the sequence just "happened" to end up on the cutting room floor. Put me down as one who no longer trusts in their veracity.

The only reason I could see it being a problem for him if he's one of the morons calling for our government (us taxpayers) to pay reparations. It would suddenly become, "Well Ben, since your family directly benefited from slavery, shouldn't you write a sizable check?"

When are Al and Jesse going to show up as producers on his films? They are the race shakedown masters after all.

Agreed.
Minus the Sony hack, we'd never have known.

I've lost all respect I had for Mr. Affleck.

Almost everyone who has ancestors dating back to revolutionary times or before here in America is descended from slave owners.

Even Obama has slave owning descendants. Even Jesse Jackson has slave owners in his family tree.

Hardly a shock.

So what? I expect MOST of us have some ancestors that did "terrible" things. Good grief.
