Ugh. Apparently the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Pure horrible trash !

Update: Dr. Kristen Lindsey had her attorney contact the TX Veterinary Board. The absolute gall of saying her actions were acceptable is mind blowing!!! Link to Letter from attorney below:

Some attorney - can't even spell feral correctly.

Sadly he is probably right. Killing the cat was not related to her professional practice. So there is probably not much they can do about it.

But if a regular, non-veterinarian person shot a cat in the face with an arrow, wouldn't it still count as animal abuse? She should be arrested for felony animal abuse, and her license should then be revoked on the basis of that arrest.

Its deplorable that anyone would defend this sh.twagon.
But I'm not surprised the only one willing can't even spell correctly.

This a$$hole is going to be defiant to the end, apparently she can't even understand why so many people are outraged. Whatever happens legally, she has been convicted by public opinion and most people would not patronize any vet clinic which employs her. So as long as people don't forget about this, her "career" is ruined.

"Without more information, the State lacks proof that this incident even occurred in the state of Texas," the DA said in a press release, noting that cat hunting is legal year-round in Wyoming.

Way to go, Wyoming. Must be a real exciting, challenging hunt...

One can only hope her reputation precedes her and she will never be able to practice veterinary medicine anywhere ever again because no one will want to take their pets to her, certainly not their cats.

I wouldn't be surprised if the veterinarian clinic hires her back when they think it is safe and this has died down.
