thanks for researching that, I grew up in the 50's and 60's and knew he was lying about getting all those vaccines in the 50's.

I am wondering when did this paranoia about vaccination come about? Perhaps I have not been paying attention, but this seems like a relatively new issue to me. I did not notice this 10 or even 20 years ago.

https://www.dshs.state.tx.us/idcu/di...tb/statistics/
In Texas, 51% of reported TB cases in 2013 were among Hispanics, 19% were among African Americans, 14% percent were among Whites, and 16% were among Asians. TB rates are higher along the Texas-Mexico border.
The total population of Texas is about 38% Hispanic, with some counties over 50%. The numbers you quote do not tell whether anyone was in the country legally or not.

Most border states have no cases at all. See the "border county" link in your link.

About half the cases are in foreign born persons, but that also does not tell whether the cases were here illegally or not.

You are making an assumption for which you have no data.

Forcing parents to inject toxic autism causing chemicles into young children's bodies is the new normal, I guess.

The newest wave of vaccine refusal can be traced to Wakefield's study (1998) alleging measles vaccine causes autism. It took a while for it to come to light that his results were fraudulent and for a whole lot of money and resources to be expended to prove his allegation was false. Wakefield's study was withdrawn by the paper that printed it, but people with no understanding of science continue to believe it is true.

The folks who were already anti-vax, actually anti-medicine, took that ball and ran with it. Jenny McCarthy added her two cents worth, as did other celebrities, and TV and the internet fueled what is a manufactured controversy. The scientific community wholeheartedly supports vaccines. For them there is no controversy.

Vaccines do not cause autism. It's a genetic disorder.

Right. Yet study after study after study has shown no link between autism and vaccination whatsoever. The only link between autism and vaccines came from a discredited doctor who was taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in advances from a law firm that was planning class action lawsuits against vaccine makers.

You are joking, right?

There has been no evidence that vaccines cause autism whatsoever. You can read any decent scientific journal to find that out.

It's not chickenpox people are afraid of, it's things like the recent Measles outbreak and the risk involved with your children going to school with children who have parents who have smuggled them across the border without the medical clearances that come from legal immigration. It's the tuberculosis scares of years ago. Smallpox and the things that were just about eradicated thanks to vaccinations.

then what?
Then you figure it out - just like the parents of children who cannot be vaccinated due to health issues, or parents whose children develop preventable illnesses because either their child is part of the small portion of the population for whom vaccinations do not work, because their child could not be vaccinated due to health reasons, or because they chose not to vaccinate their child and therefore need to spend weeks out of work caring for their child. In this scenario, only one family got a choice in the matter - the others are the victims of the poor choices of others.
