Leaving aside that this thread was started by "Member1" (that alone has me LMAO! ), I don't see any way this concept succeeds.
Walking around in a thong is cold, cold causes "shrinkage" , Shrinkage eliminates the reason women would come to check it out.
I guess they could play the Swallows "It Ain't the Meat, It's the Motion" and all the various remakes during business hours to compensate for the cold...
I don't see anything wrong with the waiters judging by the photo in the link. There used to be a Hooter's next door to my job, and I don't think anyone ate there more than once because the over-priced food, and the service, were pretty crappy. And it didn't stick around for more than a couple of years before it closed.

I have a feeling you are right. Anyone remember Chippendales? Although popular for bachelorette parties for a bit, it no longer exists for a reason. Times have changed though, maybe now in 2015-2016, with more and more people being openly gay, it has a second chance as a viable industry.
Heterosexual women might go for an occasional bit of eye-candy, but traditionally we arent as visually oriented as men.
And the towels? Something about that is just off-putting as it relates to food.

Did you guys see RonnieInDallas' post? He said it's been packed since opening, mostly straight people and even some with kids. This is not a stripper bar anymore than Hooter's is.

Eh, we'll see how it's doing in a year when the novelty's worn off.
Wow! Just saw a piece on this on Today...one is hotter than the next! They lift their shirts to show the specials, lol. Place still packed. I think it'll continue to do well because it's in a tourist area. If it's always new people, there is no novelty to wear off. I don't think it was ever meant for locals as competition for Olive Garden or anything.
