As you yourself admit, teenagers are mostly the perpetrators. Teenagers are emotional beyond reason when it comes to things they care about. Whether it's right or wrong, they aren't going to base their actions on logic if they are inflamed about something, so you'd do your own mental health some good if you stopped expecting them to. I'm not saying they are right or should be allowed to run amok, but I don't have any trouble understanding why they do.
Go look at some of those twitter pictures of OLDER FOLKS loaded up with CVS goodies.
I'm very glad the older members of the community tried to step in and control this. Kudos to them! I hate that they are dealing with these idiots. I agree with the other posters who said this isn't protesting. It's using this sad situation as an excuse to steal and destroy. It's terribly sad.
It has to be said, though, that this isn't a "black culture" thing, as some posters would like to believe.
Its an ignorance thing, its criminals and other shady types taking advantage of a situation to try and get as much free **** as possible, to cause as much mayhem and destruction as possible, setting fire to your own neighborhood, that's just ignorant.
I'm not sure what the pastors and other church related people think they will do. I doubt anyone out there now cares about religion. The come across as instigators to me.
Well, for starters they aren't "my people" They won't listen to you? I wouldn't listen to someone comparing me to an animal either, and do you actually think those types of people come onto CD?
