Maybe the next Race Riot, we'll see protestors break into libraries and bookstores and start to forcibly educate themselves into a higher level of knowledge, then take that to create jobs/schools/opportunities for their fellow neighbors and then vote to change policies/leaders and then in 20-30 years lift the city/community out of crime and poverty thus ending this viscious cycle.
Baltimore will pay out the rear for this riot.
They are still totaling up the costs here in Ferguson but it's over 26 million so far for the riots we had.

Maybe.
Now THAT would be a great riot. Right?
That's about as likely to happen as Nascar or NHL fans going to a library.

Don't limit it to race, any riot like the other poster said. One can dream though! LOL.
The police are always in a no-win situation. So what? This doesn't mean they should just lay back and let our cities burn. We pay this department to protect us from the scum that is roaming the Baltimore streets tonight.
The actions of the mayor and the governor are inexcusable. I've grown tired of hearing them defend their actions. All they needed to do was drive down the streets with bullhorns, warning the rioters that a curfew was going into effect in one hour. Why do the leaders give them another night and day to burn and loot?
Take this as a lesson and arm yourself, the police have enough on their hands. This is the future, lawlessness and chaos.

You are wrong. The actions of the governor depend on the actions of the mayor because the governor cannot act until the mayor calls him up and requests aid. It is the actions of the mayor that are inexcusable for not having requested additional police and the national guard.
Don't believe everything you see on TV. The mayor is an arrogant "hate whitey" type who doesn't want to use force or show force for fear that blacks might get hurt. She thinks she is going places politically, like governor or senator. Hopefully, these riots will kill her chances for anything but a janitorial job.

Good point. When I first started reading/hearing her remarks, it sounded a bit too optimistic. I was like really...you think this will just be like a peaceful protest?
And it looks like they called for help way too late and way too little.
Don't worry. Her political career is essentially finished here after what transpired earlier tonight.
