Sure, but what's the difference. The kid already is in a ninja suit looting. Too late. Slapping him on the butt in front of TV cameras does nothing besides generate another pointless discussion about proper parenting. If she wants to change his life for the better she should ship him off to military school.

Well, hopefully he's sufficiently humiliated. Sometimes it's good to let the kids know that if they embarrass you, you will embarrass them tenfold.

If said person has that kind of mentality, they have bigger problems than just being an assclown. .

Exactly..... a few smacks on his head potentially saved his life. She knew that.

The REAL shame is how many other kids / teens were involved in this and not too many mothers (OR FATHERS) drove their behinds down there to find them and bring them back home.

How do you know that there is no Dad? This happened in the late afternoon/early evening. It is possible that he was at work

I think it's an even bigger shame that there were adults participating in this.

What she did was not corporal punishment.

As parents you can smack your child in a dangerous situation as long as it's with an open hand. No belt, no fist, no switch, etc..

Possibly true. Also possible is that sonny boy was in downtown Baltimore having quality time with dad. My guess is that it's another absentee dad. Why do I come up with this conclusion? If you were a male head of the household wouldn't you find every way possible to not have your wife subjected to possible injury or worse going down to find their special snowflake. The DAD would be the parent down there to straighten out junior.

I hope she slapped his dumb butt all the way home. That video to me was all positive. Good for her.
