And then you have Superwoman1 aka Driller1 who creates multiple accounts to troll, she's funny.

Why don't you just put the word WHITE in your sentences rather than talk circles around yourself? WHITE isn't racist, no matter how you mean it. The Politically Correct police have deemed it so. Only old WHITE people are racist bigots and with some hope coming from you, we will all be dead some day.

Funny how you can come right out and say that stuff without mods or PC police coming down on you, right?

Yes, there were thugs out there looting, stealing, and dancing on cars, and some of them took advantage of this situation. I will not rationalize or condone their behavior, regardless of understanding the root cause.

This is a bit of a rant:

It is frustrating to watch others blame shortcomings in life on race. As a black woman myself, I do not blame any of my failings in life on my race, and neither should anyone else. I have been called dumb, stupid, loser, ******, and told I will never amount to much. I have had a few breaks in life in which I used to better myself. I refused to believe that I had to settle for less because of the color of my skin. My entire family are made up of drug addicts. My father abandoned me, and my mother was absent as well for years. I was raised by my grandmother who taught me what she could. I was partly raised by my grandfather who told me to go to school and made my graduation cap and gown for preschool as he died of lung cancer. I believe this is probably where the majority of my belief to do better for myself came from.

The world is not against us: we are against one another and ourselves. What black people could do is band together to make their communities better. Teach the children values. Get off the welfare system. Get an education. Be more selective in men you choose to have children with. Learn more about the blacks that wanted a better future for them like: Thurgood Marshall, George Washington Carver, Martin Luther King.

I am not saying everyone should be like me, but we have a choice. We can to keep ourselves down, or we can collectively build ourselves up.
All these things are easier said then done. And none of these choices are easy. I put myself through years of college, which was a major sacrifice, have not been on welfare, and chose not to have children out of wedlock. Does this make me better? No, I simply made a choice, and if we teach our children better and lead by example we can strengthen black communities.
Before I say anything, I want to applaud you for the struggle you been through. It isn't an easy world, and getting through it is hard for some of us, especially black folks. I'm glad you manage to make it through your debacle in life a better and successful person! I don't want to come off as argumentative, rude, condescending or uncaring; I just want to ask one question. Did you make in life because you truly made a choice, or did you happen to get lucky? I say this because black people are trying to make their communities better

Are trying to get an education

But aren't meeting with much success, and are having their efforts ignored. What make you think they aren't "teaching their children values"? Is it what you see? They are Humans . All humans, as a whole, teach their children values that would fit in the dominant culture, or values that are designed to help their children succeed in life. Black people aren't any exception. It just when you are face with incredible difficulties, people tend to waver, and perhaps they teach some twisted values, or don't have time to teach them, or aren't there to teach them. Blacks just happens to have alot more difficulties, and are punished more severely and disproportionately for their mistakes, so it is only natural that they succeed at a lower rate. To say that black people aren't trying is sheer ignorance of the community, and honestly conceit on your part. They are, it just really difficult to make it when you don't have the proper support system, which you (somewhat) received from your grandparents. You're fortunate, or lucky, in that aspect. Some don't even have that.

I haven't seen any old white farts taking to Twitter calling for blacks to be murdered. Must be because they can't use the Twitter thingamajig.

You suggest too many elected officials, black as well as white, who fit your requisite. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is the ultimate tool and will back them all. My representative is a liberal black female with hyphenated name. I have always wondered what the hyphenated name was all about. Is it to impress some or to align themselves with other self important people who do the same?

  • I doubt this will happen. That will take organization, leadership, and a real goal. The rioters in Baltimore seem to possess none of these quaities. If they did, they would have corralled their troops to focus on the issue at hand instead of looting stores and cutting fire hoses. If they had a cause, they destroyed it.
  • This has been said every time since the Watts riots in the 1960s. The reality, is the places where the riots take place sink further into poverty & despair because what will be accomplished by the rioting, will be to force out anyone who can make a difference because these are also the ones who have the means to move away.
  • If by chance, rioters decide to try these tactics in a town or suburb where middle class Whites are the majority, I'd wouldn't place many bets on the rioters. People in these areas are armed and have trained themselves to use guns. The sales of guns and the large number of shooting ranges that have gone up over the last decade indicate this.

The revolution isn't coming. What they better hope for is that the majority finally gets tired of the nonsense and decides to swat it down.
