They found the missing spring breaker. They found his body in a field, clad only in underwear.

What is going on during spring break these days?

His friends returned home and didn't report him missing. He went missing March 20.

His body was found over a month ago, only about a week after he went missing.

What's going on during spring break these days? Kids are getting really drunk and high and doing stupid things. Easy target for criminals as well.

Kids have ALWAYS been getting really drunk and high but didn't seem to be dead and raped so often. Maybe it's just being covered by the media more nowadays.

I went to spring break twenty years ago and no one died or was gang raped. We just laid by the pool or went swimming on the beach. A little booze, a little dancing...no big deal. There weren't a lot of drugs around, maybe some pot. There was one wet Tshirt contest on the beach, but that was as wild as it got. ( I went to cancun and south padre)

Has anyone actually been in the last five years? Is it that much more crazy now?

I was born and grew up (moved when I was 26) in Ft. Lauderdale... we had 'spring break' every day...
When I got to be college age, I was from whatever school left the week before... Ah, those were the daze... and I spelled it that way for a reason...

How sad. Seriously? They didn't report him missing?
