MESA, AZ - A man armed with a gun was shot and killed in Mesa after a stand-off with police.
The incident happened at a home near Southern Avenue and Stapley Drive around 5:30 p.m.
Police said a realtor was at the home when the man came out of the garage and confronted him. The realtor did not known the man, left and called 911.

Mesa police spokesman Steve Berry said when officers arrived on scene, the man was clearly upset, paced back and forth, went in and out of the home, and displayed a gun at times.
Authorities then got into a 20-25 minute standoff with the suspect who refused to listen to officers' commands. Police said the man pointed his gun at officers who then opened fire killing the man.
Police were still working to confirm who the man was and why he was at the home.

Am I missing the point of this post? Point a gun at a cop and you'll get shot, happens all the time.

The sign on the side of the unit clearly says "mobile command center". Inside you will find radio dispatchers and other control/support activities. Not at all like an RV.

Whaa!? The cop didn't offer to take him home and bake him cookies? Shocking! Arrest the cop for brutality.
