I'm happy for them. They're a beautiful family, and I'd much rather follow them than 99% of the "celebs" or politicians out there.

I'm looking forward to learning her name. Of the favorites I've seen mentioned, I like Charlotte. Or maybe Victoria. She'll probably have three or four names ... maybe Charlotte Elizabeth Diana? Though I'm not sure they would honor both the Queen and Diana in the same name, given their general dislike for one another. I'm betting one or the other will be honored ... if so, it will be interesting to see which way they go. Or maybe they pick neither to avoid this sort of consternation. LOL

While it's very tragic what happened in Nepal, are we only allowed to pay attention to those things deemed "important"? We're not allowed to enjoy some happy news?

I'm excited for them! It's been well over 100 years since there was a Princess of Cambridge. :-)

And so why are you griping on an insignificant message board rather than helping the people of Nepal yourself?

When you woke up this morning there were still billions of starving people in the world, nevertheless you have the gall to eat and drink and do routine things throughout the day rather than worry about that...
FYI. In about 2 hours I'm going to drop off a case of canned Tuna at the LDS food bank. They're having a clothing and food drive for the quake victims. My daughter has some childrens jackets and jump suits that the grandson has grown out of all washed and ready to go. He'll be with us. She wants to teach him about giving to others.

I can't do much else but I'm not going to waste time following the wall to wall garbage about the new princess.

There are more important things going on in the world. Just sayin'.

So you think that if people pay attention to anything besides a crisis, it means that's ALL they do? Hmmm. So if you, say take a break to phone a friend and discuss something trivial, it's time taken away from the important things in life right? Good luck with being 100% "billable" to important causes; personally, I feel better and find I am better able to help others when I have balance in my life. YMMV

And yet here you are, back in a thread about the Royal baby, wasting more of your precious time. Not doing well to support your position.
