When the criminals are more protected than the police, its time to get out of that job. There is no way to do it properly anymore.

Of course there is.

Follow procedure.

Listen to the person in custody when asking for medical attention.

Don't use brutality if not necessary.

Don't shoot to kill if the threat is gone since the person you want is fleeing with their back towards you. That means to me, the threat no longer exists.

If one truly wants to make a difference as a public servant, it takes humanity, compassion and not allowing oneself to become callous, mentally burnt out. If one can't use self control and good judgment, maybe that thankless job is not for you (general you).

all my opinion

Watch ..........First 48......and you will see all those young thugs lie and lie until evidence shows they will be locked up for life.

Then they bawl like a baby and want to say goodbye to mommy ( never to a dad )

DISGUSTING !

If criminals are more protected than the police we wouldn't be protesting police being protected more than anybody.

If the police were doing their job properly in the first place we wouldn't have to protest improper police work that we are seeing today.

Unless of course you consider proper police work as beating suspects, planting evidence, getting false confessions and generally arresting the wrong people.

Just because someone runs, it shouldn't be a death sentence or a reason to beat them once detained.

Seen it before. Always innocent even when clear video proof is shown. Functional insanity. Common among bros. Talk about a people on the edge of the law.

Many times protestors are clueless!

EXAMPLES.........protestors and activists chanting.........."hands up, don't shoot"....after it was proven that never happened in the Ferguson Missouri case.

EXAMPLE.....in the late 60's, an antiwar protest was being held and they were chanting........." hey, hey, LBJ, how many babies did you kill today"

Yes, summer of 69 and the protestors were too stupid to realize Nixon was president.

Ignorant protestors !
