The states is so dangerous. I encourage all other Canadians to NEVER go there.
Thats a bit extreme, don't you think? Just take normal precautions, and you should be OK. There are a lot of guns here though. If someone points one at you, you should probably give them what they want.
Not sure whar the point of the thread is except to maybe point out some kind of fault or a statistic that does not reflect well of the United States. Canada is very lucky to have the United States as its neighbor and one of our best friends. Canada never has to worry about an invasion from another country because it's highly likely the invading country would face the rath of the United States miltary.
Louisville is a safe city. Unfortunately, anything can happen anytime anywhere. Whether it's Louisville, Chicago, New Orleans, Vancouver or Toronto, no place is immune to random crimes. Unless you go looking for trouble, there's about a 99% chance you will not be a crime victim Louisville, or just about any American city, for that matter.
Concerning Canada, I hear that even the mosquitoes are less vicious in Canada.

Since when has America defended Canada? Lol. We have our own military

The big difference in those cities is that Vancouver or Toronto don't have a large supply of guns. For that reason most Canadians don't have to worry about being robbed at gunpoint. Which makes it much easier for them to resist muggings. Resistance doesn't work very well if someone is pointing a gun at you, unless maybe you have a gun yourself, and in that case there is still a 50/50 chance as to who is going to get shot first.
