Interesting. So I guess one could say that ISIS is more consistent in applying irrational principles. So for example it seems like contemporary Christian principle is to ignore much of the Bible and much of the official doctrine in favor of common sense. For example, there are many remarried Catholics and gay Catholics.

The procedure seems to be: "throw out what doesn't make sense." And nobody gets kicked out of church for doing that.

So perhaps morality and ethics ARE in fact determined by Man and for Man. And perhaps they always have been and always will be. Interesting.
