I sympathize with her conditions, BUT, a few things are a bit off for me (such as no blue sticker/placard, though it's not required on private property)

Note on parked car: 'Fat and ugly doesn't count as disabled' - UPI.com

Quote:
A British woman with the "invisible disability" fibromyalgia found a note on her car reading, "Being fat and ugly doesn't count as disabled (park elsewhere)."

Sarah Metcalfe, 35, of Holgate, England, said she was parked in an accessible space in the Tesco Extra parking lot April 30 in York when she and her 13-year-old son, Jack, returned to the vehicle and discovered a rude note on stationery featuring a picture of high-heeled shoes.

I understand that many people have disabilities or diseases that keep them from maintaining a good weight, but here in the US, when I see an obese person in a motorized cart at Walmart, I can't help but think "moving stereotype".

That didn't take long.

Um...I often see obese people in those motorized carts at Wegmans, but I get that you just had to kill two birds with one stone by slipping in an anti-Walmart dig, thus perpetuating that stereotype.

Most stereotypes are based on some truth. Don't pretend it isn't a common sight at Walmart. You'd be lying to yourself.

If you are legitimately disabled, whether you're fat and ugly or not, you should have and display your tag or sticker whenever using a designated spot.

If there's a handicapped sticker on the car, other people should mind their own business, maybe?
