Ex-Falcons Prince Shembo

Falcons LB Prince Shembo Accused Of Killing Girlfriend's Dog [Update]

Really? A two pound yorkie was a threat to a football player and he needed to kick it to protect himself? What is wrong with the NFL that it has so many men that abuse animals and women? These guys should be locked up for a very long time because they are criminals. #MichaelVick&RayRice

Poor pooch. No animal deserves to die like that. I wonder how many times he kicked poor Dior?

Well, he won't be collecting his base salary of $510,000 from the Atlanta Falcons this year - they've released him. And he's not some star such that another team is likely to take on the bad publicity of signing him. After all, linebackers drafted in the 4th round are a dime a dozen. And on the off chance that he does get signed by some other team, it'll be for a lot less than he would have made otherwise.

Yes, that was a $510,000 dollar error in judgment. Just goes to show that you can change your whole life in one simple decision to do the wrong thing.

God.
Why are so many of these players such disgusting thugs?

Guess the same hormonal soup that makes them good players wonks their brains.

Because aggression works well on the field, not so much on women and pets. The men who do these things are apparently unable to turn it off when they go home.

Which isnt really accurate either, you just hear about it when an athlete does something. Among NFL players, rates of violent crime, sexual assault and domestic violence are still less than men in the general population.
