This was my line of thinking as well. Black people just don't LOOK as old as they are in most cases, but their bones and muscles wear down the same as anyone else.

It's called,

Black don't crack.

Gabrielle Union, Morris Chestnut, Will Smith, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, and many others are a testament to it.

Did we really need research to tell us genetic factors are responsible for aging.

I was in the E.R, getting stitched up, the doctor was Asian, and I asked him, "Are you old enough to be a doctor??!" He said he was, and he had "Asian botox".

LOL. Yep, most Black people especially the darkskinned Black people do not wrinkle at all! I met ladies in their 60's that could pass for 40's...maybe 30's

Ha! One of my co-workers says this all the time. She's 54 and looks 10 years younger. She does severely restrict her carb intake and I read something about carbs and free radicals so that probably helps. In fact, that Dr. Perricone's book on good skin also talks about how too much processed food ages you.

Got off track - she looks fabulous and doesn't work out hardly ever. Lucky!

Oh great; Harvard, of all places, just gave one demographic a reason to start harvesting another. This will end badly.

One of the black women in my office is 50, I absolutely refused to believe her until she showed me her license. Mind blown. This woman looks like shes hands down 30.
