I get the feeling that the superintendent actually wanted to fire the principal quite awhile ago...long before any of the McKinney mess...and the principal's Facebook posting simply gave the school district an easy way to get rid of him.
A teacher in Lubbock TX just got fired for posting a Facebook comment as well.
As you can imagine it was a racist post.

A teacher at an elementary school near Lubbock has been fired after writing she was "almost to the point" of supporting racial segregation following a controversial police incident in McKinney.
Now if that teacher or principal had posted "I hate those racist cops" or Let's go protest those racist police officers" there'd have been no problem what so ever...
Heck, they might have gotten a job offer from the local University!
Here's what kind of P.C. idiot they're dealing with, the Superintendent said "Insensitivity either intentional or perceived cannot be tolerated".
Just in case people have not figured it out yet, Facebook is poison to ones life, liberty and pursuit of sanity...
When are people in public positions, incl. educators, going to stop using Facebook as a public forum for their views? THINK!
I knew a teacher that called off sick the first week of school (you just don't do that) and then posted pictures on Facebook of him and a bunch of women in bikinis on the beach.
Fired.
Good.
I'll say again, waste time again. The principal made the comment on a newspaper comment section. He wanted it to be anonymous, but mistakenly gave identifying info.
He might be stupid for mistakenly revealing the info, but not stupid enough to think he could get away with publicly supporting a white cop.
He's WHITE. This is what it says about his school:
The Politically Correct driven masses looking for a wrong behind every stone they can - save for those they walk on in their own communities.
The worst part of it is white liberals are the true race baiters. They are also the true racists. He who pushes this stuff to the point of no return is guilty of the same 10x over.
Im telling you fair minded citizens are going to turn on these people when they start realizing there is a mccarthy-esque thought policing going on. And when it comes its going to blow the f*ing doors off this nonsense. There are plenty of hispanics and whites who are going to realize they are trying to control what we think. Because hispanics have been just as much victims as whites in this "you cant disagree with us" intimidation campaign. Lots of hispanic cops being targeted, now a hispanic principal. We are not going to put up with this.
Good way of describing it but will go over many heads.
"These people" are finding out where you live and where you work and are putting that info all over the web telling others what to do.
They got BofA to cave.
The got Miami ISD to cave.
They get bombarded with phone calls, emails, Twitter posts and Facebook posts.
And the organizations are caving in to the mob.
I just read though that they did the same with the Black radio host. And here's one guy that will not be intimated by the mob.
And I need to correct myself. The Black man did not defend the cop. The Black man said he was there and this was not a racially motivated incident.
So you think a person should have to anonymously state their opinion if it might be an unpopular one. The only thing that is accomplished by firing this principal is to convince other people that might hold a position of authority to keep the mouth shut in the future and not get involved in any kind of discussion that could lead others to challenge their long held beliefs of a particular subject. Yes this guy was naive and clearly he had no facts, but he is giving his own 'private' opinion on a social networking site. Now if he had stood up in front of an assembly of kids and stated this, then perhaps I could see firing the man, but even then I find the statement to be not nearly as malicious as some other statements I have seen and heard recently on this very subject.
In fact I think situations like this actually lead to worse race relations in this country than make things better. A white person will view this as a warning to steer away from racial discussion in the future. Anytime a discussion on race comes up a white person is going to be even less likely to state their opinion, out of fear that something like this will happen to them.
Unless you are a black POTUS. He can say whatever stupid crap he wants no matter who it offends. He couldn't offend some if he wanted as they would accept it as if a minister was preaching to them.
