Sad side effect of parents who now take to social media to set their children straight. Many just want to get 15 minutes of fame as the "parent of the year".

Well dad has to live with this for the rest of his life.

The dad should not have cut her hair. Period.

That being said, hair is not a "body part" good golly, that's just plain nuts. We all cut our hair etc. - your desire to be dramatic cannot be a good feature if you are indeed a psychologist.

I am a female, bio mom who is defending the fact that stepfathers are dads. I am also defending the fact that there is no need to make things up (like the fact this was not an "isolated incident") when we have no FACTS. It may be a pattern, it may be isolated.

Sorry, hair is a body part. And an especially important one to women as you should know. We don't all "cut our hair" to the level which this was taken- looks like about a foot of hair That is a really odd comparison.

Your hostility towards me and the refusal to listen to facts is scary. You just glossed over the fact that there are multiple sources stating that he also burned her clothes and smashed her guitar in separate incidents.

I never said anything about stepdad's "not being dads." I completely agree with you that they are dads and should be held to the same standards. If this is the fact that you are "defending" then your targeted hostility towards me is sorely misplaced.

OMG!

Didn't hear about that one, but of course, this is just "dad" disciplining his child out of "love".

Opinions aren't facts. Do you have sources that actually establish all of the allegations of sexual abuse, a long pattern of abuse etc that you keep making?

I don't know he wasn't abusive, but I don't make up facts to stoke my righteous indignation.

Default Suicide solution equals ALCOHOL!

It's aggravating that people don't bother to listen and just assume! How many times will the same error happen?!

She wasn't "his own daughter." She was someone else's daughter. It was none of his business what she did. It's up to her real parents to deal with her.
