He posted a photo of himself on Facebook wearing Confederate flag underwear.
His police chief said:
"On Tuesday ... the City learned that you posted on Facebook a photograph in which you were wearing only a pair of boxer shorts emblazoned with the image of the Confederate flag,” Driggers wrote. “Your posting in this manner led to you being publicly identified as a North Charleston Police officer and associated both you and the Department with an image that symbolizes hate and oppression to a significant portion of the citizens we are sworn to serve."
His police chief also said this could compromise any criminal cases involving minorities because a defense attorney could use the photo call to into question his motivation in making an arrest.
Where are all the cries for education in the hopes that by providing information to our youth the catalysts that create the environment for murder, racism and so on aren't a factor or much less so?
Oh, I forgot, liberals have run the educational systems for decades and have nothing to show for it. That is why they always go after objects, it is far easier than admit the failures of a system they run and have so much influence over.
Unfortunately, conservatives like to cut funding to education every chance they get.
Depends when he posted this. If after the massacre then he's an idiot who definitely has to go.
I see. Personally, I don't think that it matter whether he did it before or after the church shooting. You act as that was a "game changer". It wasn't, the leftist media just capitalized on a tragedy to attack the flag which had nothing to do with the shooting and is a symbol of southern culture and pride. But I will note that you posted this thread without bothering to find out when the photo was posted. We know what you think if it was after, idiotic as your opinion is, but would you be singing a different tune if it had been before? Be honest.

Anyone recall how Ron Furman's remarks helped to muddle the O.J. Simpson trial.
