I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that he'll do the right thing.

I'd love for him to leave. I've always liked TC and hated that he has been wrapped up in Scientology.

The same way he found the last one. A bunch of people who once had a Tom Cruise posters on the wall will take their shot at getting next to fame. He will select a winner from among the groupies.

Tom Cruise is one of the Highest paid Stars in History. He makes about 20 mil a film. OF course this big news to the Hollywood buffs.

He's made some kewl movies too.

A couple that come to mind
-a few good men
-collateral
-rain man
-far and away
-risky business
-(can't recall but he's made numerous science fiction movies that were pretty good---and i don't even like science fiction).

Tom Cruise became briefly relevant when he danced in his tighty whiteys in the 1980s. After Topgun there really hasn't been any reason to pay attention to him.

And yet... here we are. It's not weird at all, I bet. The Church of Scientology is paying big bucks in taxes probably, or just bribing the right government officials. THAT is what's going on.

He's been in a lot of good movies. Valkyrie is a recent example. Far and Away was another good one.
