It takes a lot of nerve to charge for speaking when your the jerk that sent them to war to become wounded and disabled. Its a shame he was never charged with War Crimes at the Hague. I guess we will just have to be satisfied that he will be infamous as the worst President we ever had in History and that his last days will be miserable and tormenting in his old age.

It is and it's scummy, but as much as generally like Bill he had plenty of questionable pond algae about him too.

You mean that decision to invade Iraq that everyone agreed at the time the right move, including Bill Clinton? It's funny how people revise history to match their agendas.

No, leftwing news media had no purpose to tell this story for three years but now that his brother is running for president they have pulled it out.

Everyone who? You mean grandstanding politicians who had little to lose and everything to gain by starting up the war machine again?

There are plenty of people - you know, we the people - who were against the Iraq invasion from the beginning and could already see the dark road we were headed down. I am one of them. The Iraq invasion has done literally nothing to help this country or improve our standing with the rest of the world. It should be a national embarrassment.

According to my local news, the charity's attorney said the $100,000 was underwritten by a private donor. That an individual paid W to go there, not the charity itself. So, there's a tad more to this story than meet's the reporter's eye. No telling what else they over looked. Anyhow, this reminds me of the story circulating about Michelle redoing the White House dining room. Oh the horror, until it's unearthed that taxpayers are not paying for it. I don't trust anything I read, reporters are not giving us all the facts. Everyone seems to have an agenda

The speaking fee isn't a problem to me. Indeed, the fees/speakers that come with the fee generally enable organizations to raise more money than they'd be able to raise without the speaker. In short, the fees more than pay for themselves.

It's kind of a slap in the face for the veterans who were involved in the war that Bush started. Send them to battle then charge them when they get home to see your speech. WTF?
