It happens again! Man was acting erratically at a concert, possibly on LSD. Police arrive and tie him up, he stops breathing and dies at the hospital. Yikes...

Discuss?

It's honestly difficult to try and keep up with all these stories. It doesn't look like they put this mans health first, or they would have called for an ambulance.

Its hard not to be indignant about all of the documented stories of unjustified police lethality. The numbers are increasing as well. So our righteous indignation has accomplished nothing.

Sometimes I blame meds. Almost all of the civilian "shooters" were taking the same class of psychotropic drug. I'm sure cops take their share as well.

Drug addiction killed him, not the police.

Actions have consequences.

Appears that's true. Don't take drugs and you won't die from them. Simple cure. Unfortunately, with all the Bad Press Cops get now, everything will be checked, investigated, and rechecked.

People have seen that Cops will lie, will commit crimes, don't follow the Law, and will lie and cover up for each other. Thank goodness so many of them are being caught, and have to suffer the consequences. With enough pressure from the Public, it will get worse and worse for them , with honest citizens, and worse for them when trying to catch real criminals. Real Criminals will see that the only chance they will have is to start shooting as soon as they see a cop. I can imagine a day when Cops will not be trusted by anyone and face hostility from everyone. .

Another dead drugged up scumbag , one less welfare recipient . I actually see a day when we get a new president and the law abiding people will take this country back to where it once was instead of bashing police and supporting these welfare druggie low lives. Hopefully them and the thugs keep killing each other to decline their population

He apparently was on LSD, possibly an ongoing addiction as there was a police report from 2008 of him being on LSD at that time as well. The victim also had asthma. He was an educated man who took foolish risks. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Im sure you're wrong

And the numbers you cite are not increasing... continue to be fraction of less than one percent of all police encounters
LEO and drugs... we get drug tested regularly.. one cannot be on psychotropic medication prescribed or not and be in the field

Your "righteous indignation" accomplishes one thing... where police felt they could use discretion there is none.. so more people go to jail and get police reports written about them

Perhaps being under the influence, he was acting like a pig and got hogtied.

What happened "again", some drug user died because of the drugs they took? Oh well.

Cant't trust cops. When you see them, turn and go the other way.
