The problem is, there are just as many radical Christians as Muslims in this country. Both think their beliefs should control the country, and all it's inhabitants.
There are 25 prominent Christian religions alone, and they cannot agree on anything.
Dumb question but are there any other religions out there who are as involved with terrorism as radical Islam?
He's breaking the law. You can't ban people of religions you don't like from coming in your store any more than you could ban certain races.
Very specifically, at least with regards to federal law, he's in violation of a little thing called the Civil Rights Act. More specifically, Title II of the Act. Most people recognize the Civil Rights Act for what it is - one of the crowning achievements of American democracy. And for those about to start whining about states rights, he's also in violation of the Florida Civil Rights Act, specifically Part I, enacted in 1992.
Of course, as is usual, there will be some people who dislike the Civil Rights Act. Is is sad that they dislike that which embodies the basic promise of America, equality, a promise that is not always met but which must always be the goal of a worthy society.

No, it clearly is not.

Isn't that against the very meaning of the 2nd amendment?
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
When did it matter whether the government or a citizen was infringing on the right of the people? It's just as much an infringement as if the state passed a law saying no one of the Christian faith can purchase a firearm.
So an American Muslim walks into a gun store and is denied a firearm just because he is a Muslim? Next is it Blacks denied a gun purchase strictly because they are black and statistics show..........blah, blah, blah.
Looks like the perfect slippery slope the gun rights and NRA keep preaching about.
I'd like to know where the NRA stands on this issue.
Unfortunately, for some, the purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to justify them shooting "those people" - nothing more. They just hide their bigotry and cowardice behind false patriotism, but if you get them to speak openly, it rapidly becomes clear who they really would like to use their guns on, and it is rarely some mythical, non-existent tyrant.
Something tells me that there weren't a whole lot of Muslims coming to this guys store in the first place. Video in the link pretty much confirms that.
How about a Klan free store? Then they might lose some business.
In this country the Klan has been involved in acts of terrorism against, blacks, Jews, Catholics and foreigners and they are mostly fundamentalist Protestant Christians .
You people calling this guy an idiot are the idiots. This guy just got free publicity with this stunt. He knows his target customers and will receive increased business because of this statement. He can say he won't sell to muslims all he wants, perfectly legal until muslims show up to buy, pass a background check, and he refuses to sell to them based upon their religion and then it becomes a possible illegal act. Until this happens, he can say whatever he wants and he'll get increased business from his target customers.
He learned from Crockett Keller.
