Yeah and the women who buy them should know better as well. It isn't Target's job to watch out for what women buy and wear.

What about all the women who stuff 200 pound bodies into tights means to hold 120 pounds and then walk around outside in public? You're concerned about a word on a t-shirt? Just what do you think the word is when women dress up like hookers (when they might not be) and walk around?

Women really need to stop demanding everyone else watch out for them. They need to watch out for themselves first.

Target isn't your mother and if your Mother didn't teach you anything about being a lady then why should anyone else do it for you? If you want respect, give some to yourself but please stop making everyone else accountable because you buy trash and wear it.

Good point. Target is a business and businesses create and sell products that people want.

The best way to protest this is to just not buy it.

If they didn't think it would sell they would not stock the shirt in the first place.

Also the shirt doesn't say Trophy wife...it just says trophy

Couldn't a single woman view herself as a trophy too?
If someone wants to buy that shirt and it makes them feel better , who cares right?

I view this similar to a guy that would wear a shirt that said "Stud" on it or something.

I see people wearing stuff all the time that I think might be dumb or I wouldn't consider wearing...but I wouldn't want to restrict them from buying or wearing that item.

Recently I've seen people being "outraged' about a lot of things that would of been no big deal in the recent past.
It seemed political correctness was gone for a while...but now it seems it's come back in full force...

It's only lesbians and butter faces that are objecting.

My favorite t-shirt is Burt's on Raising Hope. His wife's name is Virginia, and his shirt says "I'd rather be in Virginia".

The trophy one doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't wear it.

I find the shirt in poor taste. however I think that attractive women use shirts like that to say "in your eye" "As the hard way gets even harder, I'm pretty enough to do it the easy way".

Oh Jesus H Christ! How about not buying the damn shirt if it offends you? I'm starting to think that with all of the thinned skinned whiners in this country that constantly being "offended" is a hobby!

This is no worse than all the trashy women with tattoos above their butt crack (tramp stamp) or peeking out of their shirts above their boobs.

That reminds me, I don't understand why many of those VS pants/shirts say pink when they're blue, orange, yellow, and other colors. Every time I saw one like that, I thought of all the colorblind patients I've worked with in my many years as an ophthalmic technician. Many ad campaigns are so ridiculous.

As for the "trophy" shirt, it's much ado about nothing. People who are offended have the choice not to buy it. Wow, that was easy.

It's funny because 99.99999% of the women buying and wearing these shirts only probably should receive the "Participant" Trophy.

They could start selling this...then it would be an 'equal opportunity' thing.

If you look online there are a lot of people selling shirts like this or say Trophy Wife, or Future Trophy Wife
