At first, the 19-year-old followed these instructions, and ate just part of the cookie. But after about 30 to 60 minutes, he didn’t feel any effects, so he ate the rest of the cookie, according to the report, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Over the next few hours, the man showed erratic speech and hostile behaviors, the report said. About 2.5 hours after he ate the whole cookie, he jumped off a balcony on the fourth floor of his building, and died from trauma from the fall, the report said.
I knew someone who would get fully buzzed after drinking a single bottle of Mike's Hard Lemonade and I'm know guys who could shoot whiskey w/o little obvious effect. I've heard of people who get jittery and anxious after drinking espresso and people who are fine after 3 bottles of Redbull.
My point being, pot, like booze, caffeine, and all other drugs affect different people in different ways. What may cause one person to get a good, light buzz may send another person reeling into insanity. YMMV. The best advice is to try new drugs in a safe place, preferably at home and preferably with other people present to see how you may react to it. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the super concentrated stuff, the high sneaks up on you fast and hard
I'm quite sure that there were other health issues that have not been divulged on this gentleman....mainly prior mental issues!
