Two new NBC News-Marist polls of Iowa and New Hampshire found that Bernie Sanders is the only presidential candidate in either party who has a positive approval rating in each state.

Walker -1 (30 percent/31 percent)
Bush -12 (34 percent/46 percent)

Trump -28 (32 percent/60 percent)

Here are the net approval ratings for the top candidates in New Hampshire:

Bernie Sanders Is The Only Candidate With A Positive Approval Rating In Iowa And New Hampshire

Here is a speech from 1992 which sums up quite well the current situation America is in at the moment IMO:

Bernie Sanders is a stooge of big agriculture and American Crystal Sugar (you know, the company that spent a whole bunch of money to force the sugar beet industy to go 100% GMO), the fascist big labor unions, and the $1,000,000,000,000+ F-35 project brought to you by Lockheed Martin. He's also too scared of AIPAC stand up on principle against the Israeli government's apartheid state. He's no better than any other politician. Although, I won't complain if he wipes my student loan debt clean.

And, he thinks Paul Krugman is smart. Anyone who thinks that is pretty much de-facto a moron or liar.

Wow look at how bad Trump's numbers are in that poll. I think we're seeing strong negatives for him because he scares people on the left and from the establishment GOP. He can't be shamed, and therefore controlled, by the traditional methods so that makes him a wildcard. For many people, you're either going to love him or hate him with no in between. Bernie in the other hand doesn't scare anyone. It's the same typical far leftist socialist screed you've been hearing from him for years now. You see a lot of support for him from hipsters who have no love for Hillary and from older folks looking to make sure their retirement money stays safe. He doesn't really shake anything up though and doesn't scare anyone so people who don't support him can still seem him as a genial if misguided fellow. Maybe he can use this likeability dynamic to his benefit later on if he has a good showing in NH and IA, but I'm not so sure it's really going to matter at the end of the day.

I disagree with probably most everything the guy believes in, but at least I respect him for his convictions and honesty.
Unlike Hillary who is a political chameleon, Bernie doesn't pander and speaks about his true beliefs, polls/focus groups be damned.

At least with a guy like that, you know you are getting the real deal. How he will hold up against the Clinton machine is another story. Then again if a inexperienced candidate like Obama with plenty of skeletons in his closet could beat her, maybe Bernie will fair well. Let's face it, the (D's) would only vote for Hillary while holding their nose because they think she can win.
All but the koolaid drinkers know she is untrustworthy, and would be a horrible president.
