I think the idea is that when blacks murder each other it is sad but "normal" everyday life. You wouldn't protest a rainstorm or your local sports team losing a game because those things are "normal" too.

But when a white cop kills a black person that is seen as a reminder of America's past and black people don't want to live in the past and the idea of cops slaughtering blacks all over again is a scary one and out come the protests and riots and such.

According to the article, young black men are unable to get jobs, even riding around on their bicycles in the city shouting we need jobs. What happened to the 5.3% unemployment rate and all those jobs being created each month? There's your hope...keep the change.

There is a huge difference between shouting you need a job and then actually wanting to work doing one.

There are people all over this country standing on street corners holding a sign that says "will work for food".

Stop and ask anyone of them to clean up a street or pull some weeds in exchange for food and watch what they tell you.

I think it is silly, BUT the point of the black lives matter movement was about police violence not civilian violence.
The movement should be called,"Only some black lives matter".

If they did riot, you would bash them most likely. I'm afraid blacks can't win in your eyes, whether they riot or not.
