I love this thread.

Never seen so many McD lovers in one place.

Rock on Ronald!

I confess, I like the steak, egg and cheese bagel. I don't eat there anymore, BUT I do like that sandwich.

YES!!! It is about time. This is the thing that helps them with sales. Their breakfast is pretty good.

The egg MCMuffin is supposed to be a take on eggs benedict which is why it has ham. I agree with you though.

Breakfast is the only thing that is worth eating at McDonalds.

Finally.

Victory as McDonald's stops using 'pink slime' in its burger recipe

That's really sad. But as you pointed out, there are plenty of other burger joints from which people could obtain cheap, minimally-nutritious food substitutes.

Here's a question for everyone. Will establishments like McDonald's, as currently configured, have any place in the world, say, 30 years from now, when we will [potentially] have across the board Single Payer and mandatory daily digital medical monitoring?

Hence fast food. We all realize it is not an upscale restaurant.
News for you, most all restaurants, even mom and pop diners, get frozen foods from distributors.
And they do cook the food on site.

But they actually do cook everything on-site.
They have a deep fryer for the fries and nuggets, and they have skillets for the burger patties.
The patties arrive formed but raw, much like the pre-formed raw beef patties you find at the grocery store (Bubba Burger is a prime example.)

Serving breakfast all day was a no-brainer. Why did this take so long to figure out? This company was going down the drain...hopefully this saves it.

They've been piloting this in my area for a year now and it is great. Love my McGriddle at 5pm!
