Yellow (bile) and Blue (bun) make green. On the plus side now you can monitor your metabolic rate to poo time. Some people have to have medical tests for that. Lol.
On a serious note. This is a small window of what food dyes may be doing to our bodies. I try to avoid processed foods for this reason.
Interesting that you say that as this burger reminded me of the squid ink burgers sold in Japan. They sell pizza like that too.
I saw a special on the burgers a few months ago, I think on CBS Sunday Morning or something. It was interesting but I never thought it would actually come to fruition.
I was drinking a lot of grape pop once that had that outrageous amount of food coloring in it. Same thing happens. I wonder if Outback Steak House bread does the deed since the recipe I have calls for the same massive food coloring. And, yes, it does scare the crap out of you. I thought my pancreas had shut down.
Brown bread is made with molasses thus the brown coloring. Not food coloring.
First thing I thought of was the episode where SpongeBob comes up with the neon colored crabby patties.....then all of the customer started turning strange colors....
