I saw the video on Today this morning, guy was drunk as a skunk and a total a**hole, glad he's been busted. This is one reason I would never drive strangers like that.

I can't believe how he pounded that guy. That's wild!

I've been drunk, and I've never felt the need to assault someone. Dude's got issues.

It's only a misdemeanor there to assault a cab driver; it should be a felony. Too bad the Uber driver didn't have a weapon and really let him have it.

What are the chances that the suspect also has previous arrests for assault and likely has a DUI record too?

At what point does it become "attempted murder" and the driver is permitted to defend himself with lethal force.

I'm glad at least the driver pepper sprayed his ass.

If I was in such a situation, I might have thrown in a few sucker punches and kicks to the groin for good measure while the drunk fool is puking his guts out from the spray.

Turns out the attacker was an executive for Taco Bell, now ex-executive.
