When I was traveling in Guatemala I heard a news story that a man jumped into a big cat exhibit (don't know which) to comit suicide. It worked.

I can think of a lot easier ways to commit suicide, I don't usually think about this subject, but being torn apart by wild animals would not be my first choice.

Having once been savagely attacked by a german shepherd, I can think of much better ways to spend the last few minutes of my life than being torn to shreds by an animal.
