I really don't blame the superintendent that much. The Internet hyped up media mess is making everyone crazy and we will all get where he is at some point. It only gets worse from here, so might as well get used to it. Enjoy the beautiful day.

Sorry but this is ridiculous. Being a nut case is not excused because of other nutcases.

Yes, that well known bastion of liberalism - the Roman Catholic Church. It's always so worried about political correctness.

Imaginary bow and arrow and he's suspended for 3 days?

Are we now going to tell our children, you're imagination will get you suspended so stop being imaginative

Sorry, this is way overboard.
Go to the district office????? It's a private religious school. Guess you'll have to take it to God.

Yup. Boy, those Catholic schools...hotbeds of liberalism.

It is not.

If it were, you'd get some for failing Sarcasm 101.

The more items like this surface in the news the more I see the scene from Pink Floyd's The Wall where the kids are turned into little cyborgs. Lets just lay to rest "imagination" we can get it a grave next to "personal responsibility"

Just a ridiculous story. Not only was the suspension over the top and unjustified what rule did this kid actually make. The simpleton teacher and principal should be fired and teaching credentials revoked. A lawsuit better be forthcoming and I pray that young man isn't physiologically scared for life because of the insensitivity by two feeble small minded individuals who have no idea how to handle the responsibility of teaching children.
