It has grown far more than that.

Syrian refugees not welcome in 26 U.S. states - CNN.com

"More than half the nation's governors -- 26 states -- say they oppose letting Syrian refugees into their states, although the final say on this contentious immigration issue will fall to the federal government."

What's interesting is when I started this thread earlier today, it was only 7 or so states as I recall. So now we have over half the states saying "no way". And I bet that number will still grow. And many of these states are blue/blue leaning states.

The question still remains......will the great leader once again ignore the will of the people/majority of states?

If there's one state that will holdout, I bet CA is the one. And probably NY.

I don't see anything wrong with that. No, not all Muslims are bad. But this just isn't a good time for us to welcome a lot of refugees into our country with open arms.

Our greatest leaders have always done what is right, not what is popular. Regardless, all of these governors saying no to refugees are being dishonest. They know they have zero authority to reject refugees. The Constitution reserves immigration matters to the federal government, not the states. If a Syrian wants to live in one of these states, the state cannot stop them.

If they are thinking Syria is the only Muslim country that has terrorists, think again.
I don't think anyone thinks that, but that is what is most relevant at this exact moment. I'm sure you know why.

MUSLIM terrorists didn't exist when that was written. Besides, strong, able-bodied men are not "huddled masses", especially when they wear designer clothes, take selfies with their cell phones, and refuse to eat food that is given to them and instead demand money.
