Couldn't this just be solved by adding the public display of men's underpants to the indecency laws?

I've also heard that it's simply because the prison issues pants with no belt, and frankly doesn't care what size you need. That explanation makes the most sense to me. The trend DID originate in prison, however you slice it.

They've been looking stupid with those pants for a decade or more now. If we want to fight it, we have to ake it a trend with middle aged and old people. No more pulling your p ants up to your nipples, old guys, I wanna see those tightie whites, and I wanna see 'EM right now!

A standard of decency has been ignored. I doubt many want to see underwear or anything that would be considered indecent exposure in public.

Considering the state of the world today, what someone else wears seriously couldn't matter less to me than it already does.

All the 'baggy pants' crowd should switch to kilts.

Do they sell mom jeans there? That could be the sentence for a violation. And a business opportunity.

It's none of your business. If people want to sag their pants, oh well. Just because someone finds it unpleasant doesn't mean it needs to be illegal. It's funny that the same people who are supporting this law are probably the same people who make jokes about everyone being "offended" nowadays. I don't want to see overweight people in tight fitting clothes or middle aged men with large stomachs hanging over their pants, but I don't think it should be illegal. I'm glad that there are so few issues in Laurel that this effort can take center stage. It's nothing more than social engineering and trying to get everyone to conform based off of their personal views of morality. Get real. I have several members of my family who dress this way who are genuinely good people.
